Linda Suhodolli, known to Kosovo audiences as DJ Matale, is one of the pioneers of increasingly popular drag and queer parties under the name “Pristina is burning”, which take place in several clubs in Pristina.
DJ Matale is also one of the founding members of the “BIJAT” collective, with which she and her sister perform in several queer and feminist parties. The collective’s aim is to open up spaces for female DJs and producers in Kosovo’s male dominated club and music scene.
