The documentary tells the story of mothers who lost their families, sons and husbands, in the war over a decade ago. To this day, most of them were declared missing or killed. In the wake of the war, these mothers try to learn about the fates of their loved ones, the locations where they were killed and where their remains lie.
Over the course of nearly twenty years of searching and investigation, they have collected numerous pieces of evidence and organized protests, demanding justice and help in unearthing the truth – but to no avail. Ignorance and apathy is what they are met with on their quest to get answers.
The documentary “Ferdonija” is dedicated to peace.
